The Shiatsu Session
Sessions take place in a warm, safe space where you remain fully clothed while your whole body is treated, bringing a sense of deep relaxation and wellbeing that supports your body’s own self healing. No oils are used.
Each session is tailored to your individual needs as a full medical diagnosis is given before the start of your session. I work with you to support, nourish and engage intuitively, addressing what is causing your ill health, not just treating the symptoms. My treatments support and complement any psychotherapy or western medical treatment you may be having.
There will be an opportunity to discuss possible changes to lifestyle, exercise and diet as well as the chance to learn relaxation and other self-help techniques that you can practise at home.
How many treatments will I need?
Each Shiatsu session is an individual treatment, helping your body to heal and restore balance at its own pace. However, I recommend that new clients commit to at least 3 sessions in order to realise more long-term benefits from your Shiatsu treatment. You will certainly feel better after a single session, but if the condition is long-term then it may return once the effects of your treatment wear off or the stresses and strains of your day to day life start to overwhelm.
Monthly maintenance sessions
Receiving regular treatments such as once a month will keep your body and mind in balance and maintain health and wellbeing.
