In each session, I help you let go of what your body is ready to by listening, holding and supporting. We go at a pace that respects your readiness and consent.

How Shiatsu Helps with Trauma:
- Regulates the nervous system: Trauma often leaves the nervous system stuck in a hypervigilant (fight/flight) or shutdown (freeze) state. Shiatsu’s rhythmic, grounding touch helps stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system—bringing calm and safety.
- Releases somatic (body-held) tension: Unprocessed trauma is often stored in muscles and fascia. Shiatsu can gently access and release this tension without needing verbal processing.
- Promotes body awareness and reconnection: Trauma can lead to dissociation or numbing. Shiatsu helps people feel present and safe in their body again.
- Balances energetic flow: Imbalances in the body’s Qi from emotional shock or chronic stress can be harmonised, supporting emotional resilience and healing.
