My own journey of self healing really started in 1992 when I developed eczema on my face. Having tried various conventional and alternative methods to seek help and a cure, I was drawn to learning Zen Shiatsu. Over the 3 years of studying Traditional Chinese Medicine it helped me understand the cause of my eczema and brought about a cure. I also became empowered enough to make big changes in my life circumstances and I now help many others on their own journey of self-empowerment.
In late 2016, I developed a frozen shoulder which was quite painful, it just seemed to creep up on me. Realising that it was stuck energies in my shoulder that had manifested in a painful physical symptom, I gradually cured myself by addressing and healing the cause which took about 6 months to completely heal.
I studied with the Shiatsu College, Bristol, qualifying in June 2004 and in January 2006, I gained a Diploma in Professional Energy Field Healing. This works with the Ki in the Energy Field or aura that surrounds the body. Shiatsu and Energy Field Healing are two halves of a whole healing system that works with the Ki inside and outside the body.
In 2017, I qualified as a Level 3 Shibashi Tai Chi Qigong instructor with the Shibashi Training Academy and run local classes to help people let go of stress and aid relaxation and wellbeing.
Giving Shiatsu has enabled me to get in touch with my own healing energy and practising Qigong on a regular basis has resulted in a great improvement in my own health and wellbeing.
